However, a few impressive titles are available to basic Stadia members completely free! Here’s how you can start gaming on Stadia without spending a dime.
What Is Google Stadia?
Stadia is a video game streaming service from Google. It doesn’t require gamers to install games on their device, and they can play right from their browser.
Stadia allows players to link an official Stadia controller to their TV through Chromecast Ultra, which comes in the box, or choose to link their PlayStation or Xbox controllers through Bluetooth or USB. Stadia’s streaming service even allows users who own devices that run iOS and macOS to play games through its mobile app and the Google Chrome browser.

If you attempt to go to Stadia’s website to sign up for free, it will make you sign up for a free trial of Stadia Pro with a Credit Card or PayPal, and will automatically charge that payment method in one month.
To bypass this, go to the link of a free game, such as Super Bomberman R Online, and sign up for a Stadia account on that page. From there, you can browse the store for other free games without needing to sign up for a free trial of Stadia Pro.
To browse only free games, scroll down to All Games, then sort the list by Price. This will allow you to see free games available for Stadia users, as well as Stadia Pro users.
Free Games Available With Stadia Pro
There’s a much larger collection of free games available if you sign up for Stadia Pro. There is a one-month free trial, and users are able to cancel any time.
